I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Leake Estate in Arlington, Texas in about one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-two. Contributed by Catsrecipes Y-Group about four½ pounds fresh garden peas one tablespoon unsalted butter (Recipes by ingridients <a href="/search/butter">butter</a>) ten green onions thinly sliced two½ cups chicken stock two cups water ½ cup heavy cream one teaspoon salt one teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Lemon crème fraîche  ½ cup crème fraîche one tablespoon milk ½ teaspoon grated lemon (Recipes by ingridients <a href="/search/lemon">lemon</a>) zest one½ teaspoons fresh lemon (Recipes by ingridients <a href="/search/lemon">lemon</a>) juice one teaspoon salt one teaspoon freshly ground black pepper  Directions Shell the peas reserving eight of the pods. Set the peas and pods aside. Have ready a large bowl of ice water in which a soup pot can be nested.
